My name is Chao-Yi Wang, 王昭怡. I moved to the United States from Taiwan and graduated from Pratt Institute, in New York City, with a Masters in Package Design. I currently work as a Package Designer in New York City.
Package design requires a balance of efficiency, user consideration, and form. I am passionate about these aspects of packaging and believe that it can have lasting effects on users and sales. In my designs, I try to strike a balance between all three.
On a personal note, I consider sustainability to be an important factor in packaging and package design. It is an aspect of the field that I hope to increasingly incorporate as I continue my work.
